What is a UA NEXT?

At Under Armour, we recognise 16 – 20-year-old (young, talented and determined) athletes like you. We want you to get where you deserve to be. You know you’ve got what it takes to go pro. So, show us. Be the Next.

The UA NEXT program offers these athletes a chance to get the benefit of all UA kit at a % discount for a year. Plus, we will throw in some special gear upfront to recognise you for the ATHLETE that you are.

Who is eligible to apply to be a UA NEXT?

Applications are open athletes across various sporting codes and fitness disciplines. Whether you are a young professional athlete or aspiring to go pro, you should apply.

How can I apply to be a UA NEXT?

To apply, visit the www.uanext.underarmourarena.co.za/apply and complete the online application form. Be sure to provide accurate information about your background, experience, and achievements. The application process may include submitting relevant motivations, certifications and references.

How are applicants selected to be a UA NEXT?

The selection process is based on several factors including ability, location, social media following and general achievements. Meeting the eligibility criteria and providing thorough and accurate information in the application will enhance your chances of acceptance.

What happens if my application is unsuccessful?

Whilst we believe that all athletes are champions, we unfortunately have a limited number of places available. We select the candidates according to a scoring system based on specific criteria that is relevant to our brand and our business at a point in time. This decision is final and is at the full discretion of the brand team and no correspondence will be entered into.
